Danijela is an expert on sustainable finance, impact policy and regulation
Danijela is an economist with 14 years of experience in the financial sector. Her core skills include breaking down conceptual problems into implementable solutions, with an entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset. Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, she was a policy strategist at the Dutch Central Bank. Her responsibilities were leading and participating in policy research projects and managing project processes and engaging in dialogue with financial institutions and other stakeholders. Danijela participated in a range of policy research themes in the field of sustainability risks, transition plans and sustainability reporting standards and requirements.
Danijela worked as an economist in the research department of Rabobank and at the Ministry of Economic Affairs before she joined the Dutch Central Bank. Thanks to her broad working experience Danijela has an in-depth knowledge of the financial system and the role of financial institutions, governments and other stakeholders.
Danijela holds a Master’s degree in economics from Tilburg University, as well as a VBA in Investment Management from the Free University of Amsterdam. She is fluent in Dutch and English.
