Hessel Meinderts
Consultant
Hessel is a Consultant with a focus on socio-economic analyses and impact management in emerging markets.
He is motivated to support both public and private sector organizations in solving complex multidisciplinary problems. His interests include sustainable development, innovative development finance, and private sector development in emerging markets.
Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, Hessel worked at the Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI), a Dutch governmental agency that supports SMEs in developing countries with exporting to the EU. In addition, he advanced his private sector experience at the Public Affairs team of HEINEKEN International, where he gained insights in the private sector’s role in promoting sustainable development.
Hessel holds a MSc degree in International Economics, with a focus on Development, from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and BSc degrees in International Relations and Economics & Business Economics from the University of Groningen. Hessel is fluent in Dutch and English, highly proficient in Spanish and has a working proficiency of French and German.
