Julia Gluchowska is a Manager with a focus on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and ESG topics
Julia is passionate about advising development finance institutions, impact investors, and development organisations. She is based in the Netherlands.
Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, Julia spent 5 years with the design engineering firm Arup, where she was based in Melbourne, London and Amsterdam. At Arup, she worked with technical design teams gaining experience in ESG and sustainability strategy, design, and assessment in the built environment. She also worked with M&A deal teams where she was responsible for the environmental and social due diligence of infrastructure projects around the world. With this experience, Julia understands the technical and design considerations of projects and uses this to ensure that the project evaluations she works on are tailored and fit for purpose.
Julia holds a MSc in Public Policy and Human Development dually accredited by Maastricht University and the United Nations University. She also holds a Certificate of Green and Sustainable Finance. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University in her home city of Melbourne, Australia, which included study in Guadalajara, Mexico and Paris, France. She is a native English speaker and is highly proficient in Polish, Spanish and French.
