Liza Ottlakan is a Senior Consultant at Steward Redqueen with 8 years of experience in ESG risk and impact management. She focuses on supporting a broad range of clients to strengthen their operations to enable better integration of climate and biodiversity risks, and impact considerations into their strategic decision-making.
Liza has experience advising and supporting asset managers and their portfolio companies, development finance institutions, multilateral funds, and international organizations alike. She also helps clients to evaluate their socio-economic, climate, and biodiversity impacts using value-chain analysis and economic modelling.
Before joining Steward Redqueen in 2023, Liza worked for six years with impact-first organisations, such as the Green Climate Fund, the Adaptation Fund, and FAO. Liza is trained in Biodiversity Finance, and is also a Certified Expert in ESG and Impact Investing through the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She holds an MSc in Climate Change, Policy, and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex. She also has a BA in International Relations, specialised in environmental policy. She is fluent in Hungarian, English, and Italian, and has a working proficiency in Spanish.
