Sybren is an expert in socio-economic analysis and ESG management
Sybren is a Manager with a focus on socio-economic impact assessments for large corporates and financial institutions. Sybren is experienced in impact quantification, ESG management and fund evaluations. He is based in the Amsterdam office, in the Netherlands.
Sybren has worked on more than 10 impact assessments, quantifying the economic, social and environmental impacts of multinational companies. Building on that experience, Sybren is also involved in the content updates surrounding the Joint Impact Model, the model that harmonises impact measurement for financial institutions. He has also worked on numerous ESG projects for commercial banks and other financial institutions.
Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, Sybren gained experience surrounding the intersection of business and sustainability at De Volksbank, the Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs and at StartGreen Capital. This provided him with a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities of successfully integrating sustainability into the core of a company, ranging from large, international companies to SMEs.
Sybren holds a MSc degree in Global Business & Sustainability from the Rotterdam School of Management and a BSc degree in Business Administration from the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam, which was completed at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is fluent in Dutch and English and has general working proficiency in Spanish.
