We developed a pioneering methodology for quantifying the impact of investments in power

Let’s Work is a global partnership that unites international organizations in the goal to enable private sector-led job growth. It includes many of the world’s international development finance organizations (IFIs).

On behalf of the Let’s Work partnership, the IFC commissioned Steward Redqueen to analyse the economic and employment impacts of IFI investments in power generation in the Philippines.

We provided the IFC with an Impact Framework which can be used for systematic monitoring and performance assessment of policies and investments in the power sector in the Philippines. Additionally, the methodology can be applied in many different countries.

Our approach, based on juxtaposing detailed information on power supply and demand, reaches beyond the results of traditional econometric analyses and is considered innovative by many power experts.
