Impact report for Verod

We developed Verod’s 2023 impact report, showcasing their ESG & impact journey.

Verod Capital Management (“Verod”) is a leading investment firm in Western Africa. Founded in 2008, Verod provides growth capital to innovative companies across various sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, education and healthcare.

Verod is increasingly becoming more impact-driven, and has developed a reinvigorated impact strategy that focuses on job quality, gender equity and climate action. To this effect Steward Redqueen was commissioned by Verod to develop their first-ever impact report to build on feedback and momentum from their 2022 Sustainability report. Throughout the process, we collected information on Verod’s investments, interviewed partner companies, and conducted a deep dive into Verod’s investment strategy.

The result was a concise and visually engaging impact report that showcases Verod’s journey of navigating investment challenges in West Africa since its inception. It highlights the impact trajectory of its portfolio companies and Verod’s pivotal role in their growth. For Verod, the report serves as a valuable tool to explore ways to enhance its impact in collaboration with stakeholders.
